LET releases plans for eRespond Incident Management Solution for Gas

CORK, IRELAND, (February 25th, 2009) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce its plans to develop an Incident Management and related Reporting solution for Gas.

Gas utilities are coming under increasing pressure from the Regulator to provide timely and accurate reporting. Major fines are being levied for non compliance.

LET’s flagship product already has modules for Incident management for water, waste water and electricity. According to Marcus McCarthy, extending the Incident Management functionality is the next logical step for LET. “There are huge similarities between incidents across utilities which enabled us rollout our water and waste water incident management solution so quickly. We have Gas expertise in house and will now apply our huge utility experience to developing the Gas product.”

LET is currently discussing with potential vendors this exciting opportunity to become the first implementation for this product.
