LET releases its eRespond Incident Management Solution to the general marketplace
CORK, IRELAND, (January 15th, 2009) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce the release of its eRespond Incident Management Solution to the general marketplace.
Utilities are coming under increasing pressure from the Regulator to provide timely and accurate reporting. Major fines are being levied for non compliance. United Utilities chose LET to assist in its strategy to comply with the tightening regulations in Water and Waste Water. This was a major technology step forward for United Utilities as eRespond is build on next generation architecture
This Incident Management project was completed on time in budget. In fact the system went live on the exact date announced at contract award less than one year ago. This amazing achievement is credit to team work from all participants: United Utilities, IBM and LET.
Some of the benefits from the project include improved incident identification for water and waste water. The system will also facilitate the creation of on-line network modeling for water and waste water.
LET has now completed further work on the eRespond Incident Management Solution and has made it available to its other customers and the general marketplace. According to Managing Director, Marcus McCarthy, “This is an exciting time for LET as there is huge interest in this product. The Water and Wastewater market place is rapidly catching up on electricity and is under huge pressure from the Regulator and customers to demonstrate progress.
