LET chosen to provide Trouble Call, Load
Estimation and Switching to
PEA Thailand
CORK, IRELAND, (January 20th, 2008) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to provide Trouble Call, Load Estimation and Switching software to PEA Thailand
LET was chosen as its flagship product has been built from the ground up for the Electricity utility sector. The Call Take module allows substantial numbers of call takers to operate concurrently at extremely busy times. It allows many business processes to be driven from Call take such as Maintenance management, Street Lights, Vegetation management and incident management. It allows enables PEA to provide up to date information to its customers via IVR
The Load Estimation module assists PEA to decide the optimal points to make connections to its network based on loading of transformers.
The Switching module will be the system of record for the entire network from HV to LV. The software facilitates switching where a region may not have any SCADA system or where the SCADA system is temporarily unavailable.
