LET and ESRI agree strategic partnership-LET to embed ArcGIS

CORK, IRELAND, (July 10th, 2008) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce that it has agreed a strategic partnership with ESRI. As part of this partnership, LET will be embedding ESRI’s ArcGIS.

LET and ESRI have a good working relationship for many years. Several of LET’s customers have ESRI functionality via eRespond, LET’s flagship product. As part of the deepening of the partnership with ESRI, LET will be increasing its GIS implementation capabilities.

The immediate effect of the strategic partnership will be the embedding of ESRI’s ArcGIS. This will materially improve the spatial functionality in eRespond. It will allow eRespond to provide network incident and work related spatial web services to other applications within utility customers.
