LET wins contract to implement eRespond as Network Incident
Management System

CORK, IRELAND, (October 15th, 2007) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce that it has won the contract to implement eRespond as the Network Incident Management System at United Utilities.

UK utilities are coming under increasing pressure from the Regulator to provide timely and accurate reporting. Major fines are being levied for non compliance. United Utilities has chosen LET to assist in its strategy to comply with the tightening regulations in water and Waste Water.

eRespond will replace the mainframe system which is out of date. This will be a major technology step forward for United Utilities as eRespond is build on next generation architecture. The project is part of a large technology refresh at UU to implement several SAP systems including SAP PM, SAP BI and SAP BW. LET’s long technology relationship with SAP, including certification for Powered by Netweaver will help United Utilites in this regard.

Some of the benefits from the project will include improved incident identification for water and waste water. The system will also facilitate the creation of on-line network modelling for water and waste water
