LET appoints new Managing Director

CORK, IRELAND, (August 15th, 2007) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce that Marcus McCarthy has been appointed as the new Managing Director of LET. Marcus will also be a member of the Board of Directors.

Marcus has been with LET since 2002 and has operated in a number of senior positions including Head of Engineering, CTO and most recently CIO. Marcus brings a mix of skills and experience to the No1 position. His strong background in technology will enable him drive LET to be the market leader in terms of architecture, functionality and expertise for its flagship product eRespond.

Marcus’ appointment represents a strategic shift in position for LET. Going forward, LET will concentrate on its core expertise of best of breed technology and industry experience. It will do this by building strong distribution partnerships and reduce its direct selling activities. Marcus’ aim for LET is to deepen relationships with its customers to get a win, win in terms of product development that customers have a direct input and LET can pass on the benefits to other customers.
