LeT chosen to implement innovative Workforce
Management
solution at City Power
CORK, IRELAND, (February 14th, 2007) – LET Systems, the industry leader in Network Operations Solutions for Outage Management (OMS), Network Modeling, Customer Contact and Mobile Workforce Management is pleased to announce it has won a contract to implement its innovative Workforce Management solution at City Power.
This solution will allow City Power to dispatch jobs to resources in the field via mobile devices. These resources can then update work orders remotely providing cost and time benefits to City Power.
The solution was chosen by City Power due to the pervasiveness of the mobile network in its region and the low cost of the mobile devices. LET’s solution will allow City Power leverage these advantages to the full
The project will be in the form of an upgrade as City Power has been a long standing customer of LET. The upgrade will be seamless due to the next generation architecture of eRespond encompassing a very thin client.
