LeT Systems and SAP Utilities Management Discuss ISV Opportunities at SAP TechEd '06

Fionan Murray (CEO) and Paul Ryan (VP Sales and Alliances) attended the SAP Independent Software Vendors conference in Amsterdam, meeting with colleagues from SAP Partner Management and the SAP utilities unit. The conference dealt with the extended partnering opportunities opening up to SAP software partners. LeT Systems completed SAP certification in 2004 and will complete SAP Netweaver certification by end 2006. LeT Systems and other industry experts, customers and partners from around the world were invited to bring their experience, agility and solutions to the table. The event theme, 'Empowering an Ecosystem of Innovation,' demonstrates SAP’s leadership in executing on its enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) road map and in fostering co-innovation across its customer base, partner organizations and SAP itself.

 

Siemens and LeT Systems Build Alliances Across Europe

In the foreground, Mr Marcus McCarthy, CIO, LeT Systems demonstrates the eRespond solution and its integration with leading systems, such as SAP. The conference gave Siemens and LeT the opportunity to present new ideas in bringing together systems and knowledge in being the 'bridge' between operational and commercial systems. In addition to the joint presentation made to the conference (topic: Gaining New Technical and Financial Benefits through Enterprise Asset Management - Successful integration of GIS, OMS, ERP and SCADA-DMS), the event gave all participants the time to discuss new topics and meet other industry experts.

 

Worlds Largest OMS Deployment Prepares to 'Go-Live'

Khun Suwat Chiochanchai, Deputy Director of the Provincial Electricity Authority, Thailand, recently led a group of PEA and Siemens personnel to conduct Factory Acceptance Testing of the eRespond OMS in Cork prior to 'Go-Live'. eRespond is being implemented for PEA in Thailand as part of the CBS project, and is being delivered by LeT Systems in both the Thai and English language. Commenting on the project Fionan Murray, CEO, LeT Systems said: 'As far as we know this is the largest OMS project in the world, with more than 13 Million customer meters being modeled in eRespond. In conjunction with the extensive SAP deployment in PEA, eRespond will play its part in bringing state of the art customer service and operational efficiency to PEA. We are particularly pleased to have worked closely with Siemens to deliver this technology to PEA.'


 

LeT Systems and Siemens Extend Partnering Agreement

LeT Systems promotes SAP integration exchange (IX) at SAPPHIRE 06 Paris

LeT Systems' CEO, Fionan Murray (Centre) meets representatives at the recent SAP Sapphire '06 in Paris to discuss the eRespond solution integration with SAP utility applications. The integration will enable customers to define application integration points, connect business processes across applications and support the latest version of key packaged applications, while improving operational efficiency and customer service.

 

LeT Systems and Siemens deliver presentation at Africa Utility Week

Siemens and LeT Systems presented an extensive paper on the Integration of GIS, OMS, ERP and SCADA/DMS with the eRespond solution to a packed audience at Africa Utility Week. As joint partners on a number of global projects in Africa, Asia and Central Europe both companies brought real life experiences of the success they have achieved in integrating eRespond and SCADA solutions to accepted industry systems. The success of these integrations has reduced implementation time, enhanced product functionality for users and reduced overall project costs to customers.

 

A Roaring Success for LeT Systems

LeT Systems and some of our select customers from Asia and Africa enjoyed a superb mix of work and entertainment over the course of the St Patricks weekend in Singapore and Malaysia. On St Patrick's Day itself LeT Systems co-sponsored the St Patricks Day ball in Singapore which brought together a mix of Irish culture for all to enjoy. A quick flight to Malaysia and the Formula One Grand Prix beckoned, where LeT Systems demonstrated the superiority of the eRespond solution and its latest product enhancements before enjoying the roar of F1 cars on Sunday.

 

LeT Systems installs new SAP interface

As part of the ongoing integration with SAP modules, LeT Systems has announced the latest implementation of their SAP interface. A leading SAP partner since 2004 in the utilities sector, LeT has continued to integrate their flagship solution eRespond with various SAP modules for customers. This has led to a superior offering for SAP utilities customers who have quickly adopted the integrated eRespond/SAP solution.

 

PEA Thailand introduces LeT Systems 'Manual Network Switching' solution

LeT Systems has agreed with PEA Thailand to deliver the next phase of the Network Operations Management solution, with the primary goal of implementing the eRespond 'Manual Network Switching' solution. Along with this increased functionality LeT Systems will also deliver complete network analysis and SMS broadcast functionality. This is an ongoing project that once again integrates LeT Systems eRespond solution with SAP Modules. PEA currently manages electricity distribution and retail to 99 percent of Thailand and has 13 million customers. There are 941 sub-offices scattered throughout the country in 73 provinces, rendering service to the customers.The number of the PEA's staff is currently at 27,823.

 

eRespond for Water delivered to United Utilities

LeT Systems has successfully delivered eRespond for Water to one of the leading UK Utility companies, United Utilities. The eRespond solution for Water is following the existing eRespond solution for Electricity as a class leader. LeT Systems successfully showed the ability to adapt their world class solution for electricity utilities to meet the different needs of water management and leakage identification.

Central Europe

The event highlighted successful Irish companies such as LeT Systems who have developed strong customer links with utility companies in the region.

Trade Mission
